Following the overwhelming success of the revolutionary VU Block Model with undergraduate students, we have rolled out the Block Model to our postgraduate courses.

This course is delivered in eight-week mode, which means you study two units (subjects) at a time over eight weeks (or one unit at a time over eight weeks for part-time study), rather than juggling several units at once. And with its focused timetables and smaller, collaborative classes, VU’s Block Model gives you more time to connect with your peers, lecturers and industry partners, helping you to build strong professional networks.

The VU Block Model has improved our student results and engagement, and has won multiple international awards for innovation and excellence.

Victoria University will be the first university in Australia to connect students, researchers and startups with SAP customers and partners through a SAP Next-Gen lab.

The industry collaboration will help us build innovations in technology that are linked to the 17 UN Global Goals.

Our plan is to develop this lab into a learning, research and collaborative workspace to develop technological innovations for the future.

Our students have been given an industry project from AusNet Services, Victoria’s largest energy delivery service business. AusNet owns and operates approximately $11 billion of electricity and gas transmission and distribution assets.

We have strong industry partnerships – including with Linfox and SAP. Our lecturers include people who work in the field, and have ideal expertise and networks.

You’ll have the chance to work with our partners in SAP-related fields. You’ll also have opportunities to practise roles in analytics or other ERP positions.

If you’re aiming for a leadership or management role in SAP or other ERP systems, our masters degree will take your qualifications to the right level.

Our business courses are designed to lead into one another. When you graduate from this course, you’ll gain entry to our Master of Enterprise Resource Planning. The credits earned during your graduate certificate will count towards that masters degree.

As a postgraduate student you might want to take up one of many opportunities to further develop your academic language and study skills. VU’s Learning Hubs are welcoming spaces where you can improve your study and employability skills.

We offer maths, writing, careers and English-language advice, and show you effective ways to study and manage your time.

Our programs include:

  • workshops
  • drop-in sessions
  • peer mentoring
  • maths and writing resources
  • resume and career guidance.

We also have accessibility support services and counselling services available for all students.

Our campus libraries have photocopying, computing and printing facilities as well as electronic and print resources.

You'll also have access to a rich collection of online resources at any time of the day or night, including:
