Our partnership with the  Real Madrid Graduate School is a joint venture between Real Madrid Football Club and the Universidad Europea de Madrid.

Our partnership with the School gives Victoria University (VU) sport students insight into business and training operations at Real Madrid Football Club through an international exchange program.

While the School has similar partnerships with universities around the world, VU was selected as the first Australian partner university due to our leadership in sport education and research.

The VU student experience

Through this partnership, students enrolled in our Master of Sport and Exercise Science have the opportunity to complete a two-week residential program in Madrid, Spain. During this program, they visit Real Madrid Football Club and study at the Universidad Europea de Madrid.

Students learn how the Club runs its sport business and high performance sport science operations. Gaining unique insights into the workings of one of the world’s biggest sports clubs prepares our graduates for employment at an elite level.

Travel and accommodation costs of the program are built into the course fees.

Real Madrid in the VU community

In 2015, VU also forged a partnership with the Real Madrid Foundation to offer world-class football clinics to aspiring soccer stars in the west of Melbourne.

VU and the Real Madrid Foundation have hosted a series of football clinics in 2015 and 2016.

This exciting partnership offers talented junior players rare access to a professional training experience with a team of Real Madrid Foundation coaches.

VU and the Real Madrid Foundation support aspiring soccer stars.
