Assessment

Assessment tasks will be designed to reinforce and extend knowledge and skill competence within set and controlled parameters in accordance with each unit's learning outcomes and performance criteria requirements, including the setting of work based practical application tasks designed to provide evidence of competence outcomes, within periodic and scheduled timelines. Students will be expected to demonstrate the following required skills: - take turns to maintain simple discussion about learning goals and potential issues in achieving them; - ask and respond to questions about learning goals; - discuss implementation of a learning plan; - follow simple instructions to complete a simple written template; - use sentences of one or two clauses to document own achievement of learning goals; - use key words related to own learning, and; - problem solving skills to draw on own experiences to identify current skills and learning goals.Students will also be expected to demonstrate the following knowledge: - different types of goals such as personal and work; - difference between long and short term goals, and; - source of additional support.
