Assessment

Assessment tasks will be designed to reinforce and extend knowledge and skill competence within set and controlled parameters in accordance with each unit's learning outcomes and performance criteria requirements, including the setting of work based practical application tasks designed to provide evidence of competence outcomes, within periodic and scheduled timelines. Students will be expected to demonstrate the following required skills: *produce at least three different digital images for the web according to client requirements. In the course of the above, the candidate must: *adhere to copyright standards and legislation *save images in required format and location. Students will also be expected to demonstrate the following knowledge: *industry standards and copyright legislation applicable to using digital images *digital image formats and their application *industry-standard digital image editing software *purposes, specific functions and key features of common digital systems and tools *organisational policies and procedures, including procedures for: - accessing client briefs - sourcing and saving digital images required web content.
