This unit (BCO6656) aims to give Information Systems and Management students an appreciation of the importance of a thorough understanding of contemporary project management techniques, both technical and human. It concentrates on both the management of Information Technology (IT) projects and the use of computer software in the management of these and other projects. It also aims to show how knowledge of the appropriate application of such skills is becoming vital to Information Systems professionals and managers in the performance of their many functions in an organisation.
