This Non-Award program is designed to assist members of the legal profession who wish to practice in migration law either as a new avenue of practice or to enhance and update their skills in this very specialised area – Migration Law. It will assist Australian Lawyers to navigate and update their knowledge of the maze of prescriptive regulations that cover migration law and practice, as well as providing them with knowledge of the visa application process, cancellation and review mechanisms. The Non-Award course - Migration Law for Lawyers is specifically targeted at lawyers wishing to practice in the migration law felid in light of the deregulation of the Migration industry that is currently taking place. This Non-Award course will assist students in navigating the maze of prescriptive regulations, as well as understanding the visa application process, cancellation and review mechanisms. This will equip them with greater confidence in dealing with migration cases and clients.
