This unit (AEK1204) of study will be an introduction to the history of the Aboriginal struggle and the continual impact of colonisation upon Aboriginal Australian peoples. Students will explore the role of Aboriginal activism, including why Indigenous peoples have and continue to resist. Students will take part in a wide variety of activities in which they will be expected to engage in critical reflection and reading, and discussions.
