This unit (ACO3011) develops technical, interpretive and self-evaluation skills in music practice. Students are assisted in evaluating their technical, interpretative and improvisation skills. Students are instructed in a range of underpinning theoretical knowledge in general musicianship. Students are assisted in investigating and understanding musicological concepts relating to musical repertoire and performance. Students are guided in setting goals, strategies, exercises and practice routines.
