Assessment

Assessment tasks will be designed to reinforce and extend knowledge and skill competence within set and controlled parameters in accordance with each unit's learning outcomes and performance criteria requirements, including the setting of work based practical application tasks designed to provide evidence of competence outcomes, within periodic and scheduled timelines. Students will be expected to demonstrate the following required skills: *communication skills to participate in discussing possible options and asking questions *problem solving skills to identify potential options and select most suitable *planning and organisation skills to meet with a support person to develop a plan to explore the selected option/s *self management skills to review the plan *technology skills to access information about training, work or community participation options Students will also be expected to demonstrate the following knowledge: *sources of information to access information about options *purpose of a plan to assist in further exploration of selected option/s
