Research Design and Proposal Development provides students with an opportunity to develop their investigative, analytical and critical skills in order to design a current research project (eg Year One Thesis in PhD (Integrated) or MRes thesis). This unit (UGR7002) will support them to fully understand the nature and requirements of the research process and its components, and to establish a conceptually and structurally sound plan for the forthcoming research and for the Confirmation of Candidature process.
