Research and evaluation are integral elements of sport management. Sport and recreation professionals need to understand the uses, processes and implications of research and evaluation and be able to apply various research and evaluative techniques in their work. This unit (SSM3104) provides students with a conceptual and practical introduction to research principles, methodologies, methods and applications. Students will familiarise themselves with the language of research, understand the research process, and learn how to design, conduct and critically review research.
