This unit (SPE3200) involves the exploration, analysis and development of movement skills and concepts through rhythmic and expressive movement and fitness based activities. Students will apply their skills and knowledge of skill acquisition, biomechanics, and growth and movement development to create and adapt appropriate movement experiences and provide and apply feedback to enhance participation and performance in a range of movement activities. Students will explore the elements and practice of rhythmic and expressive movement and movement for health and fitness in contemporary physical activity and movement contexts such as dance, gymnastics and lifestyle exercise based programs.
