This unit (SOL3003) provides students with knowledge and theory concerning risk management for individuals and groups in natural environments. Students will consider the natural environment and context specific development and interpretation of appropriate organisational policy, law, legal liability, industry accreditation and certification. Risk management theory will be applied to the development of professional ethics in this context.

Assessment
Due to risk management and professional/industry requirements to demonstrate knowledge and skill within both simulated and workplace environments, graded attendance and hurdle tasks apply to laboratory work and practicums.
