In this unit, students will continue undertaking IT industry placement of at least 192 hours during the semester after completing the first unit, Industry Placement 1. The placement needs to be approved by the Course Coordinator. Students will identify a project that can be completed within the constraints of the unit and complete the project using the knowledge and skills developed in the Industry Placement 1. The students will also demonstrate leadership, teamwork and conflict resolution skills by working collaboratively within a team. Because this is a placement unit, students can expect to encounter complex situations that they will need to pro-actively manage with support from their mentor and the unit convenor.
