This unit (NIT2113) introduces the basic concept and fundamental principles of cloud computing and cloud development platforms. Students will learn programming skills in cloud and design and develop cloud applications in various platforms. This unit includes important topics in cloud computing, e.g., virtualization, storage, infrastructure/platform/software as a service, reliability, security, MapReduce programming, etc. The knowledge will be applied to design, develop and deploy cloud based applications in selected platforms.
