Learning Outcomes
1. | Critically analyse, interpret and present the fundamentals of conventional and innovative construction details for buildings; | ||
2. | Discriminate and prescribe compliance requirements for design and development of high rise buildings; | ||
3. | Interpret and apply federal, state and local building regulations, codes and standards in high rise building design and development with real world projects; | ||
4. | Adapt integrated design and development of building systems, structure and services and how this integration can be facilitated; and | ||
5. | Critically review building regulatory procedures, codes and standards to present graphical and written designs and specifications details for different high rise development scenarios. |
