The task of putting evidence-based research into practice is often beset by difficulties due to competing demands placed on policymakers and practitioners. This unit (LCR6006) identifies the challenges and promises of implementing social and environmental crime prevention policy in the real world. Key focus will be on current policy frameworks, the promises and pitfalls of partnerships and collaboration, and 'selling prevention'.
