This unit (JQU0045) deals with the fundamentals of Australian Migration law, the role of migration agents and the application of migration law and policy. It will cover the history of Australian migration law. The development and structure of Australia's immigration system legislation and policy and the establishment of the Migration Agent profession. It examines the fundamentals of Australia's visa system including making valid visa application procedures for decision-making and general requirements for most visas. There are 3 modules to be completed:
