Integrated Practice 3 aims to facilitate students in developing further knowledge and skill in the areas of critical, emergency and surgical care; as well as specialty areas of paediatrics, oncology, burns and hand therapy. These skills add to the foundations of knowledge gained from previous units and will equip students with the necessary level of understanding and skill when managing these patient groups in the clinical setting across the lifespan and inclusive of indigenous and culturally diverse populations. Students will also commence a capstone research project on an area of evidence based practice, with opportunity for peer and academic review.
