This unit (ECE1004) provides an opportunity for pre-service teachers to learn how to create a safe and secure environment when working with children. It supports students to develop positive strategies to collaborate, interact and communicate with all children, families and colleagues in an inclusive way.
In completing this unit, pre-service teachers will form understandings of both physical and emotional security in various early childhood settings.
