Assessment

Assessment tasks will be designed to reinforce and extend knowledge and skill competence within set and controlled parameters in accordance with each unit's learning outcomes and performance criteria requirements, including the setting of work based practical application tasks designed to provide evidence of competence outcomes, within periodic and scheduled timelines. Students will be expected to demonstrate the following required skills: *support the drafting of at least three complex legal documents using advanced functions of at least one software package, or integrate functions of at least two different software packages. In the course of the above, the candidate must: *design and produce accurate documents that conform to specified standards within agreed timelines. Students will also be expected to demonstrate the following knowledge: *organisational policies and procedures in relation to precedent design and use *relevant legislation, rules, regulations, and codes of practice for drafting legal documents *process for developing and testing templates
