The aim of this unit is for students to acquire a functional understanding of the planning, management and operational requirements of international hotels, contemporary accommodations and/or integrated resorts. Students will develop capabilities to facilitate effective operations management, by engaging in a range of practical problem solving sessions involving teamwork, case study analysis, online learning activities, peer discussion and review and self-reflection. Students' capacity to manage operations in a capable and adaptable manner will be assessed through a combination of assessment.
