The unit explores the area of cinematography through practical workshops, in the areas of visual storytelling, camera operation and movement, lighting, exposure and measurement. Students are provided the opportunity to undertake practice that reflects industry practice and standards. Underpinning the practical focus is an emphasis on the theoretical knowledge and critical thinking associated with the field of cinematography.
