This unit (APH4015) of study is designed to provide students with experience in planning, conducting and reporting a research project. The broad aim is to promote the development of the student as an independent researcher. The area of content is expected to reflect the student's and thesis supervisor's area of research interest. Students design and carry out an independent investigation and report their findings in a journal article manuscript that would be appropriate for submission to a relevant journal for publication (although actual publication is not a requirement of the unit). This is a compulsory component completed over two semesters via enrolment in this unit of study and APH4012 Research Thesis.
