In this unit, students explore the emergent industry of digital service design as a practice that enables individuals to engage with services offered in digital environments. Services transformed by digital environments include those in the education, health and music industries. In this unit, students critically examine the elements of 'good' digital service design. We explore the digital analytics generated by digital services from a range of perspectives including ethical standpoints. Practical skills in the collection and analysis of data in order to design better services will be developed.
