In this unit, Linear Statistical Models, students are introduced to simple and multiple linear regression models, general linear models with categorical data, - simple experimental designs and simple logistic regression models for binary response. Students will learn how to build, diagnose and validate linear statistical models. Statistical software package from Excel will be used to practise the techniques covered in this unit. This is a unit that will allow students to undertake a qualification to become a registered teacher.
