Develop and enhance your skills to build and maintain effective teamwork with the Introduction to Effective Teamwork short course at Victoria University Polytechnic.
This professional-development workshop is suitable for individuals from any industry, job role, community or sporting organisation.
It provides participants with a foundational awareness and understanding of skills to build and maintain effective teamwork.
At the completion of the workshop, you will be able to:
- describe qualities of an effective team
- identify and describe behaviours that support effective teamwork.
Learning outcomes
This professional development program is offered to individuals, who are seeking to develop and enhance their awareness and knowledge of skills to build and support effective teamwork. It is anticipated participants to have basic level computer skills to access and operate the online learning software to navigate a webpage and find information, attend a webinar using zoom or webex for online delivery. If the course is being delivered face-to-face onsite, computer access is not required.
The program is delivered over two (2) half day workshops via an online platform, facilitator led delivery will provide an overview of platform being utilised and expectations of participation whilst ensuring any participant technology issues are addressed. This course will be facilitated via webinar or zoom scheduled times, including short videos, and electronic resources provided to participants and involves group discussions to support the key principles related to managing workplace relationships.
At the completion of the workshop participants will be able to:
- Describe qualities of an effective team
- Identify and describe behaviours that support effective teamwork
