In order to be issued a Statement of Attainment for the unit of competency(s) within TNCL1 Class 1 Restricted Electrical Fault Finding Licence, a student must successfully completed the core units.

Learning outcomes
Ensure workplace safety with this course in Class 1 Fault Finding Licence for Appliances.
You will develop technical skills and knowledge in the:
- diagnosing faults in low-voltage electrical equipment
- working safely on electrical equipment
- using electrical testing and measurement equipment and testing electrical equipment as per Australian Standards AS / NZS 3000 and AS / NZS 4836.
This short course is delivered over three (3) consecutive days (8:00am - 3:30pm), face-to-face session, facilitator led delivery.

All applicants must complete the following to determine suitability:
- complete a Pre-training Review (PTR)
- applicants must hold a Class 2 Restricted - Disconnection Reconnection of fixed wire low voltage
- must provide evidence of completion:
- UEECD0007 Apply work health and safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace
- UEERL0004 Disconnect - reconnect electrical equipment connected to low voltage (LV) installation wiring
- All applicants should contact Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) on 1800 815 721 to seek approval to attend the Electrical Workers licence course prior to commencing studies.
