This program is offered to women from a variety of workplaces and organisations who wish to develop the skills needed for effective leadership.
Delivered over one day, this online workshop is led by an expert facilitator. It will give you a foundational overview of the strategies and key principles involved in managing workplace relations.
By the end of this workshop you will know how to communicate and negotiate confidently and be able to deal with conflict and management issues. You'll learn how to create a culture of inclusiveness and equality in the workplace, and expand your professional network.
Learning outcomes
This professional development program is offered to women, who are seeking an awareness and foundational understanding of a range of strategies to develop and enhance their effectiveness as women in leadership. It is anticipated that the participants will be existing workers with a range of experiences in diverse workplace contexts.
The program is delivered in a one (1) day workshop via an online platform, facilitator led delivery will provide an overview of platform being utilised and expectations of participation whilst ensuring any participant technology issues are addressed. This course will be facilitated via webinar or zoom scheduled times, including short videos, and electronic resources provided to participants and involves group discussions to support the key principles related to managing workplace relationships.
At the completion of the workshop participants will be able to:
• Develop an understanding of the strengths of both male and female leadership styles
• Learn strategies to deal with conflict and management issues
• Develop some skills to communicate with more confidence
• Explore negotiation styles and learn three specific strategies to improve negotiation skills
• Identify how to create networks with powerful allies
• Explore how women leaders can create a culture of inclusiveness and equality for all

The program requires participants to have basic level computer skills to access and operate the online learning software to navigate a webpage and find information, attend a webinar using zoom or webex for online delivery. If the course is being delivered face-to-face onsite, computer access is not required.
