Develop an awareness in basic change management skills with the Introduction to Change Management short course at Victoria University Polytechnic.
This professional development workshop is suitable for individuals from any industry, job role, community or sporting organisation.
It provides participants with a foundational awareness and understanding of basic change management skills.
At the completion of the workshop, you will be able to:
- describe models for change
- develop a basic plan for change
- identify potential barriers and restrictions to change
- describe strategies to reduce and minimise barriers and resistance to change.
Learning outcomes
This professional development program is offered to a broad range of individuals who are seeking to better manage their current work role responsibilities or to expand their skill set to access employment or promotion. It is anticipated that participants will include workers from a range of industries and job roles who have identified basic change management skills as an area of work skill development.
The one (1) day workshop is delivered via an online platform, facilitator led delivery will provide an overview of platform being utilised and expectations of participation whilst ensuring any participant technology issues are addressed. This course will be facilitated via webinar or zoom scheduled times, including short videos, and electronic resources provided to participants and involves group discussions to support the key principles related to change management knowledge and skills.
At the completion of the workshop participants will be able to:

The program requires participants to have basic level computer skills to access and operate the online learning software to navigate a webpage and find information, attend a webinar using zoom or webex for online delivery. If the course is being delivered face-to-face onsite, computer access is not required.
