Use this webform to apply for recognition in Victoria University’s Elite Sport and Performer Program. Whether you are an athlete, performer, coach, or official, studying any degree, at any campus, and at any time, you can apply for support through this program.

Registration process

  1. Check if you are eligible for the Elite Sport and Performer Program.
  2. Complete and submit this online application form.
  3. Email supporting evidence.

Supporting evidence required:

  • A summary of your achievements and experiences from the last 12–18 months (e.g., your sporting or performance résumé).
  • Proof of your involvement and achievements, such as:
    • A letter from your sporting or performance organisation or association.
    • Evidence like team selection, rankings, awards, or performance certificates.
  • A reference letter from your organisation or association confirming your level of involvement and ongoing commitments.
  • A high-quality photo of you in action (if applicable).

2026 Elite Sport & Performer ATAR Adjustment

If you’re a prospective domestic student, you can apply for up to five extra ATAR aggregate points by:

  • Showing how your sport, performance, coaching, or officiating commitments have affected your previous studies.
  • Applying for your preferred VU courses through VTAC on time.
  • Completing the online application form below and ticking ‘applying to study at VU.’

Important: Being eligible for an ATAR adjustment doesn’t guarantee a place at VU. You must still meet course prerequisites, additional requirements, and compete on academic merit.

Applications are open now and close on 5pm Friday, 5 December 2025.

* Please note that our Bachelor Education (P-12) and Bachelor of Education (Primary) are exempt from ATAR adjustment under this scheme.

If you are an elite athlete, performer, coach, or official applying for entry into a Victoria University undergraduate course through VTAC, you may be eligible for the Elite Sport and Performer Adjustment Factor. This could add up to five points to your ATAR for admission into a course where ATAR is required.

  • A reference letter confirming your level of involvement and ongoing commitments.
  • A high-resolution photo (action shot preferred, if applicable).
VU Elite Athlete Program terms & conditions

As a member, you are required to:

  • Attend the compulsory program induction session (for first-year members).
  • Keep your performance achievements and information up to date by communicating regularly with the Elite Sport and Performer Program Coordinator.
  • Stay in contact with your course and unit advisors to plan your studies and manage any scheduling conflicts.
  • Respond promptly to communications from the Elite Sport and Performer Program Coordinator.

Members are encouraged to:

  • Represent VU as an ambassador when possible.
  • Participate in UniSport-endorsed events, including Nationals, if relevant.
  • Provide a high-resolution photo for use by the University in print and online.
  • Support and promote VU’s sport and performance programs where possible.

By submitting this application, I agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current information and supporting documents to VU.
  • Notify the Elite Sport and Performer Program Coordinator promptly of any changes to my sporting, performing, coaching, or officiating status.
  • Keep my contact details up to date.
