We are an appointment-based service – to see a counsellor you'll need to make an appointment.

Our professionally trained counsellors provide free, confidential individual counselling sessions.

Please note we are not a crisis service. If you are feeling suicidal and want to end your life, harm yourself or harm someone else then please call 000 immediately.

Alternatively, if your life is not in immediate danger you can call Lifeline on 13 11 14 or Kids Helpline on 1800 55 1800 (for students aged 25 years and under).

Victoria University Counselling and Mental Health services are dedicated to inclusivity. Our counsellors have experience in supporting students with diverse sexualities, sex and gender identities.

You can talk to our counsellors about any range of issues that can impact your study or personal life.
