Austria

Joanneum University of Applied Sciences is located in Graz, Austria's second largest city and only 200km south-west of the capital of Vienna. Home to six universities, Graz is full of students taking advantage of the Alps and the sunny Mediterranean influenced weather. Graz is an easy to get around with an extensible public transport service including trams, buses and trains for easy access to neighbouring countries such as the Czech Republic, Hungary Italy and Germany. The Global Business Program is offered in Graz and the International Programme is offered at the Kapfenberg campus.

Austria's fourth largest city, Salzburg is located close to the German border and is only 150km south-east of Munich and is home to three universities. Finland

The city of Jyvaskyla is situated in the heart of Finland, 270 kilometres north of the capital, Helsinki, and is surrounded by beautiful lakes, ridges and forests. The Jyvaskyla region with a population almost of 170,000 is a modern centre for industry and learning. JAMK University of Applied Sciences' central location makes it easily accessible to other areas and towns in Finland as well as the rest of Europe.

Founded in Angers in 1909, ESSCA is a business school (grande école) that offers management programs. ESSCA has four campuses located in Angers, Paris, Budapest and Shanghai. Its international program is based on partnerships with 160 universities in over 40 countries. Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences has three campuses, all of which are located in the southern part of the green belt of Cologne, Germany. Close to the city's renowned cultural sites, the university is surrounded by sport and recreation facilities.

Subjects are available in business and masters courses. All study areas are taught in German except for the Business Administration Programme, International Management Certificate, which is available for one semester and is taught in English.

Cologne (Koln) is Germany's fourth-largest city, located in the west of the country near the borders of Belgium and the Netherlands. Munich is the German capital of Bavaria and the third largest city in Germany. Situated in southern Germany (near the border with Austria) Munich provides a perfect central base for exploring all that Europe has to offer. Munich is consistently ranked one of the world's most liveable cities and with its city motto translated as, "Munich likes you", it is no wonder why. The city is riddled with history and is famous for its breweries, culture and culinary delights.

University of Europe for Applied Sciences – Berlin, Hamburg educates the designers and decision-makers of tomorrow in the fields of business, psychology, media and communication, sports management, art and design. It came into existence in 2017 after the merge of BTK University of Art & Design and BiTS University of Business Leadership.

The Berlin campus is situated in the creative centre of the capital, near to Potsdamer Platz and the Sony Centre, on the edge of the vibrant Kreuzberg district and in walking distance from many cultural highlights such as the New National Art Gallery, the Berlin Philharmonic and the Martin Gropius Building, with its contemporary art exhibition.

Netherlands

HAN University of Applied Sciences is located in the twin cities of Nijmegen and Arnhem. Both cities are only about 18km apart and are both situated in the Netherlands far east, only a short distance from the German border. Both cities are surrounded by the beautiful Dutch countryside with major train stations acting as a gateway into the rest of northern Europe and beyond.

Most courses in economics and management, automotive, and engineering are taught at HAN’s Arnhem campus. The Arnhem campus is located in the middle of a large park and has beautiful green surroundings. The Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Health and Social Studies are located in Nijmegen. Additionally, many courses in the life sciences domain and the Masters course International Business are taught at the Nijmegen campus.

Den Haag (the Hague) is a small city in the west of the Netherlands on a short distance from both Rotterdam and Amsterdam. Although emitting a small town atmosphere the Hague is a hub of international activity being home to many international bodies and organisations, including the Dutch Royal Family. The Hague University consists of four campuses around the city with the main campus (Laakhaven) situated in the city centre.

Spain

School of Tourism, Hospitality and Gastronomy is situated in the heart of Barcelona, the second biggest city to Madrid in Spain. The campus, boasting its own Hotel and multiple restaurants, submerges students in an incomparable hospitality education experience. Jonkoping University offers a modern and creative learning environment. Jonkoping is a city in southern Sweden and is located on the southern tip of the picturesque lake Vattern. Scholarships Available

The University of Gothenburg Partner Scholarship is a financial contribution from the Axel Adler Foundation towards living expenses for incoming exchange students. Students from selected exchange partner universities (including VU) who plan to study on an exchange at the University of Gothenburg (GU), will have the opportunity to receive a scholarship. Both bachelor and master level students are eligible for the award. Victoria University has been awarded two recipients per academic year.

Each student can receive SEK 1000 per week for a maximum of nine months.

 

United Kingdom (UK)

Edinburgh Napier University is one of the largest higher education institutions in Scotland with over 17,000 students from 109 countries. Edinburgh is the capital city of Scotland and has many historic buildings, including Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, the churches of St. Giles, Greyfriars and the Canongate. Edinburgh's Old Town and New Town are jointly listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Kingston University is located in a busy riverside town on the border of London and Surrey. The university has four campuses which are all linked by their free bus. Kingston upon Thames is close to the beautiful countryside and has a rich history dating back to the Anglo-Saxon times. Central London is also only 25 minutes away by train.
