Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University is located in Beppu on the southern island of Kyushu. Beppu is situated between the sea and the mountains and is famous for its 2500 hot springs, onsen. It is a small town offering great scenery and opportunities for outdoor activities.
APU is a very multicultural university with almost half of the students being international. All undergraduate subjects are offered in both English and Japanese, allowing students who have no background in the Japanese language to study at APU without any problems.
Study options
Subjects are available in communication, media and public relations, creative arts industries, community development, business, international studies and political sciences, hospitality, tourism and events management, environmental science and biotechnology, psychology, supply chain and logistics and social sciences. Subject to approval from this university.
Students can take units from the College of Asia Pacific Studies and/or the College of International Management.
