The Victoria Business Confucius Institute (VBCI) offers Chinese-language, business and cultural exchange, and facilitates China-focused scholarships and tours. We work with business, government, industry and educational and community partners to foster cultural understanding between Australian and Chinese people.
Co-established by Victoria University and the University of International Business and Economics, Beijing (UIBE) in 2015, the Victoria Business Confucius Institute (VBCI) is the first business Confucius Institute in Victoria, and the ninth Confucius Institute of UIBE. The VBCI brings a unique business focus that complements other Confucius Institutes in Melbourne.
The VBCI is based at VU’s Footscray Park Campus.
