Sherene Ozyurek is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Victoria Law School and lectures in the Graduate Diploma in Migration Law.
Sherene has been recognised as a Law Institute of Victoria Accredited specialist lawyer in immigration law since 2014. She is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria and High Court of Australia and has over 15 years of experience in resolving complex migration matters. She is listed in the Financial Review's 'Australia's Best Lawyers.'
Her PhD research focused on migration law.
She is a member of the Accredited Specialisation Board of the Law Institute of Victoria and an advisory committee member (Immigration law).
She is the co-author of the Australian Migration Legislation Collection and Australian Immigration Companion and has contributed to other migration-related texts.
