About Rudi Klein

Rudi Klein is a senior lecturer in the First Year College. His current role is that of key academic and unit coordinator responsible for the teaching of topographical anatomy. He continues to have an active role in education research. He has received a number of recent teaching awards in recognition of his education research.

Rudi Klein started his career at the University of Melbourne, and moved to Monash University in 1987. He then taught bioscience-related subjects at RMIT for 20 years, before moving to Victoria University in 2012. He is a passionate teaching and research academic, active in a number of science disciplines, including anatomy and physiology, sports science, endocrinology and education research.

He has published more than 40 peer-reviewed journal articles, four book chapters, and over 60 conference abstracts with significant citation index. He is a registered HD supervisor, and has co-supervised five PhDs, one masters and six honours students. He has been successful in obtaining research funding, and is a reviewer for a number of scientific journals.
