About Julie White
Associate Professor Julie White is Principal Research Fellow within the Institute for Sustainable Industries & Liveable Cities (ISILC). She currently leads two research projects focused on youth justice and inclusive education. She has attracted grants totalling $2M in the period 2009-2019 and has authored 70 scholarly publications. Her google scholar H Index is 14.
Julie undertakes research into inclusive education.
She currently leads two substantial studies investigating education and the youth justice system. She completed a project examining how the arts can support young people from refugee backgrounds to combat Islamophobia and racism and has undertaken several investigations about the education of young people who live with chronic health conditions.
Julie has written more than 60 scholarly publications about educational inclusion, research methodology and the contemporary university. She currently supervises 9 PhD students and has supervised 12 PhD projects to completed. She has examined more than 20 PhD theses.
