About Himanshu Shee
Dr Himanshu Shee is currently Associate Professor at the Victoria University Business School (VUBS). He is also a Research Fellow at the Institute for Sustainable Industries and Liveable Cities (ISILC). His research interest focuses on digital transformation of supply chain management, sustainable supply chain management, supply chain risk and resilience, circular economy of food, textile and plastics, and analytics. He has expertise in empirical modelling based on survey and interviews/focus group.
Himanshu has published well in top-tier journals and conferences, including the SCM: an international Journal, international journal of physical distribution and logistics management, international journal of logistics management, Journal of logistics research and applications, industrial management and data system and others.
Himanshu has been successful in securing external grants from the Department of Education’s Economic Accelerator grant, Victorian Skills Authority and local government in Australia. He has successfully received ISILC’s fellowship for many years. Himanshu has received several awards in his research career, including HDR supervision Excellence from Victoria University and VU Business School. His Scopus profile indicates his research addressing eight UN-SDGs that include SDG #3, #4, #8 #9, #10, #11, #12, and #17.
Himanshu has been Associate Editor for higher-ranked journals such as Operations and Supply Chain Management: An International Journal (OSCM), Int. Journal of Global Business and Competitiveness (IJGBC), and Area Editor for Operations Management Research Journal (OMR). He is also an editorial board member and guest editor for several other top journals including Int. J. of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management (IJPDLM), International journal of Logistics Management (IJLM), Sustainability, International Journal of Logistics Research and Applications, IIMB Management Review and others.
Himanshu has presented his research in many internationally reputed conferences such as Academy of Management, POMS, EUROMA, ISDSI, ANZAM and ANZAM-OM. He has received Best paper award in ANZAM 2017. He has been invited as a keynote speaker in research conferences in Asia-pacific countries such as India, and Sri Lanka.
