Applications are open for access to Library research student spaces.
If you are a research student at VU and will be working on your thesis between December and February you can apply for access to the Library’s research student spaces. These spaces provide a place and the required facilities (PCs connected to the VU network, power points for laptops and other devices, WiFi access) to keep working on your thesis until the next semester starts. Research students from any VU campus can request access to:
- Footscray Park Research Student Lounge, located on level 4 of the Footscray Park Library, Room P416
- Werribee Research Room, located in the Werribee Library, Room 1A113.
Entry to both spaces is via access fob (electronic key) during library service hours.
Who can apply for access?
All VU research students from any campus can apply for access to either of these rooms. This includes all students enrolled in:
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
- Professional Doctorates (DBA and Doctor of Education)
- Masters by Research
- Honours.
