Connecting with local education leaders

Victoria University’s Vice-Chancellor Peter Dawkins hosted an intimate breakfast for the senior leaders from colleges in Melbourne’s west.

In the Western Bulldogs boardroom, overlooking Victoria University Whitten Oval, education leaders enjoyed the opportunity to engage with the university and each other.

Professor Dawkins positioned VU as a university focused on ‘finding true success’ for our students and shared some of the varied pathway stories of our students.  He reinforced VU as a university that is open-minded and a champion of each individual – regardless of background, age, gender, ethnicity or ATAR score.

Attendees made the most of the opportunity to connect with the VC and contribute their feedback on what is both important and useful to their schools.

The VC is planning similar events for the principals across the other metropolitan regions.
