VU creates a smart e-brochure system for international students

Victoria University (VU) has released a new, innovative web based e-brochure system designed to improve efficiencies in communicating tailored information to prospective international students.

The new e-brochure system produces a personalised PDF brochure based on the student's study interests and personal information. In a simple five step process, a student can select customised information about the University's achievements and strengths; facilities and services; courses and entry requirements based on the country they last studied.

Anyone is now able to create a course e-brochure

Victoria University International (VUI) developed the tool in collaboration with CiBiS, a software development company. We believe that it's one of the most comprehensive course related e-brochure systems available in Australia and by enabling students to develop a customised brochure we envisage that it will make international students' choices clearer and easier.

VU staff and the University's agent and partner network can also use the system to create a personalised brochure for an individual, or custom build a brochure to suit a large and diverse audience.

VUI sees this release as the first phase and plans are already in place to release a second phase early in 2013.
