Gain new skills for spring DIY projects

With spring fast approaching it's time to skill up for your home projects!

Victoria University is offering a range of short courses so you can gain new skills so you can tackle your very own DIY projects.

Our highly trained industry professionals will be running courses in:

BASIC WOODWORK

Learn skills that will help you create many basic wooden objects for around the home or garden.

BRICKLAYING

This course covers basic bricklaying and paving.

BUILD A FENCE

Learn to prepare, build and erect a traditional paling or picket fence

BUILD KITCHEN CUPBOARDS

You will design, construct and install your very own kitchen cabinetry

FURNITURE RESTORATION

Learn to strip, repair and restore furniture using woodwork equipment and techniques.

HOME MAINTENANCE

Learn to create a basic wall frame , hang a door and how to sharpen tools.

POWER TOOLS

This course will teach you how to operate common power tools with confidence.

WHERE    80 Champion Rd, Newport.

WHEN      Courses are held 3 or 4 successive Saturdays
