On Friday 14 October 2011, the VU Community will get together and volunteer their time and skills to a variety of projects in Footscray.
The purpose of this event is to say thank you to the Footscray community for greatly supporting Victoria University by giving back through a number of community based projects. We hope that through this event we can build a stronger relationship between the University, you and the local community that supports us.
Current students are encouraged to get involved. It will be a great day for helping the local community, networking and making new friends!
All volunteers will get:
- A free breakfast at the beginning of the day
- Limited edition V4U Polo
- Certificate of participation
- Credit toward Students Leadership Qualifications
- Celebratory drinks and presentation of certificates following the hard days work
